Oh man, guys, I'm reeling from seperis's kirk/spock fic, You'll Get There in the End (It Just Takes a While). [rated NC-17, and epicly long, just so you're warned.]

I don't even know what to do with myself right now. This pairing has taken over my life for the last couple of weeks, and I've started delving cautiously into the massive amounts of canon that this fandom entails, but this just struck me right in the fucking heart, IDEK.

so i just recently found out that next year our theater department is putting on The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe as our winter play, which i was pretty excited about.

BUT ALSO. TODAY I JUST FOUND OUT THAT I GET TO DESIGN THE ACTUAL SET FOR THIS THING, AS IN, DRAW UP PLANS AND EVERYTHING, AND THEN PAINT IT.

I GET TO CREATE NARNIA, YOU GUYS. THE FANGIRL IN ME IS HAVING A CONIPTION.

i really can't explain my complete inability to maintain a regular journal of any kind. i think it has to do with the fact that i over-think everything i write and say, so just doing a regular blog takes me way longer than it should so it always takes me necessarily huge amounts of time.

anyway! life since whenever i posted last has been hectic and filled with school work and stress. but none of that matter at the moment BECAUSE KRIS ALLEN AND ADAM LAMBERT ARE TOP TWO.

i haven't been updating, so you may not be aware of my all-encompassig obsession for this show this season, but i voted for two hours straight and then almost sprined my ankle in the massive flail-fest that occured last night.

THEREFORE, A SPAM OF KRADAM LOVE IS OBVIOUSLY CALLED FOR.

I want to fic these guys, for real. I haven't touched any fiction in months, but they're adorable and inspiring, so we'll see.

in other news! i totally reccommend this epic ppg fic by essbeejay titled More Than Human. it takes the stereotypical high school!themed ppg and turns it into soemthing absolutely amazing and great. it's only got three chapters so far, but it's already way longer than anything i've written in my life, with chapters coming in at about 30k words! even if you only have a vague idea of what ppg is, i'd suggest taking a look.

So here it is, my first official Cookleta fic to be posted. I didn't intend my first foray into this fandom to be so angst-ridden, but you can blame isvirgil, who said (and I quote), "I would like to receive a Cookleta breakup fic. The angsty, painful kind that's all the more painful because it is natural yet completely wrong."

So this is all her fault, is what I'm saying. :)
